Mrs Else Philips has managed to put two teams together for The
Enterprise Olympics 2003 despite the fact that schools
are in the middle of exams during the competition.
This year the teams will include a number of children who have
been hand picked by Else from historically disadvantaged areas in
Klerksdorp. The teams are currently being prepared for the competition
by Else.
Last year the Klerksdorp Team came second and is looking forward
to a win this year. The City Council of Klerksdorp
is the main sponsor of the event and congratulate Mrs Philips on
her vigilant efforts to promote this international competition.
Else is passionate about school goers becoming entrepreneurs and
continuously strives to promote entrepreneurship within our local
schools.
The Enterprise Olympics will be held on 18 & 19 June 2003 and
will once again be hosted in Klerksdorp. Good luck to our two local
teams who will be participating.
