The new site offers you weekly community news from the Klerksdorp Record, Business news from WCOB and SACOB, along with a monthly survey and a list of local events. You can now also search through our database of over 6000 businesses with access to even more information than before. Further development of the site and of the search facility will continue, and all businesses are encouraged to check on their information and correct/update where necessary, with all businesses requested to submit between 10 and 20 keywords that would identify them better in future searches - click here to submit your keywords.

The WesVaal Chamber of Business is in the process of organising an Information Seminar regarding the Promotion of Access to Information Act. This seminar will take place within the next two weeks, with both a morning and an afternoon session.

The W T C Johannesburg has extended an invitation to African Businesses to an outbound trade mission.

The W T C A Spring Meeting is being organised by the W T C A New York in due collaboration with W T C Mumbaii.

The business networking session will take a new dimension as there will be real business specific match-making for all participants across the world including market research and advertising.

Projects by your company or training activities will be given priority during the business networking session.

The W T C's that have confirmed participation and have trade delegates are Cairo, Karachi, Lagos, Mexico (Puebla), Paris, Spain (Madrid), San Diego, Taipei, Zagreb and China.

Promotion of Access to Information Act

You've compiled the manual in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act and want to know what next - simply follow these steps:

  •  Submit a copy to the South African Human Rights Commission,
  •  Submit a copy to the controlling body of which your organisation is a member (if applicable),
  •  Submit a copy to the Government Printers,
  •  Ensure that the head of your organisation holds a copy ready for public inspection during office hours and/or upon request,
  •  Place it on your company website (if applicable)
