The new South
African Tourism site was recently launched on CNN, and all businesses
in the Tourism industry (Guest Houses/Hotels, Restaurants, etc.)
are invited to submit their business information for inclusion on
the site. This service is free until August 2003, after which a
small fee will apply.

From 20 to 22 February 2003, the Klerksdorp City Council
will be hosting the Tourism Lekgotla 2003 in Klerksdorp in
conjunction with the North West Parks & Tourism Board.
This event will be hosted over a period of three days. The Council,
with the community's assistance and support, will be responsible
for the first two days and the North West Parks & Tourism Board
for the last day, highlighted by the 2003 Tourism Awards
gala dinner on Saturday evening.
