1. I get a weird error when searching the database!
Error #1
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted.
Requested operation requires a current record.
The above error usually comes up when you click on a business name
for more information. This error is the result of us not having
enough information for that business (usually a telephone and fax
number are missing, along with a street address). If this happens
with your business please complete our online
form so that we can update our database, otherwise e-mail
us with the name of the business so that we can follow up.
2. Can I add my business to your database?
Probably yes. Even though the goal of KOSH
Info is to be a comprehensive database of all KOSH based
businesses, we do include businesses elsewhere in South Africa.
If for some reason we decide not to include your business in our
database we will notify you and give you an explanation for the
exclusion. At this stage only international companies with no South
African representation are automatically excluded.
3. How do I add by business to your database?
Adding your business to the KOSH
Info database is easy and FREE! After ensuring that your
business isn't already listed simply follow the Getting
Listed link and complete the handy form (be sure to read the
completion guide too) for electronic submission. No e-mail required.
This form can also be completed to update or correct your business
information.
4. Must my information be in English?
Preferably yes. The KOSH
Info database is accessed by thousands of visitors each month,
and many of them are based in the US, the UK, and numerous other
countries. Having your information only in Afrikaans could hinder
your international business prospects. A good guide is to have all
your business information (address, etc.) in English and to provide
a mix of English and Afrikaans Key Words.
5. Who runs KOSH Info?
KOSH Info is a
joint venture between Kosh
Info Centre CC and the WesVaal
Chamber of Business. The aim of KOSH
Info is to be a comprehensive information service for tourists,
business investors and the people of the KOSH area. It also
aims to market the KOSH area and its diverse people.
6. What does KOSH mean?
KOSH is an acronym for the consolidated municipal districts
of Klerksdorp, Orkney, Stilfontein and Hartbeesfontein.
7. I need additional information. Who do I contact?
For additional information you should contact Ronnie
Groesbeek, manager of the WesVaal
Chamber of Business.
8. Some of the information in your database is incorrect.
While every attempt is made to ensure that the information in the
KOSH Info database
is correct and up to date, the nature of the business world is that
businesses change on an almost daily basis and these changes are
often not communicated to us. Whenever you find that the information
we have listed is incorrect please
let us know. It is only through interaction with you, the end-user,
that we can continue to improve our service.
